From 1997-2001, I had the wonderful opportunity to represent the University of Notre Dame. Winning a National Championship my senior year was an amazing finale to a very memorable collegiate career!! GO IRISH!!

Nigeria/Angola
As a spokesperson for Nothing But Nets, I traveled with the UN Foundation to Lagos, Nigeria to observe the net distribution process through the measles immunization campaign. In Luanda, Angola, we visited hospitals and clinics where we witnessed first hand what malaria looks like. I can assure you of two things: your donations are definitely needed, and they are used effectively and efficiently! So little ($10) can do so much (save a life)!!

Mali
My second trip with Nothing But Nets was to Mali, where we were able to provide life-saving bednets to almost every mother and child in the country. We were also able to combine Sports with health care, as we conducted soccer and basketball clinics-- imparting knowledge of the game as well as instructions on how to use the bednets that we distributed!
